Favourite pieces – my first edit

As this is my first style/fashion post I really wanted to share with you the pieces that are very ‘me’. I tend to favour a nude, pink or a more neutral look, but love to add a splash of colour here and there. My favourite colour splash at the moment has to be a pastel blazer!

My most worn dress over the last few weeks is this gorgeous striped cold shoulder piece (which I have just also ordered in black) and paired it with these amazing Chanel dupe espadrilles. I wore this outfit for a day out in the sun last week and minus the tan lines it left I felt amazing in it, and got so many compliments. It’s super affordable too which is why I didn’t feel too guilty buying the black as well!

Next up, can we please take a minute to admire this beautiful dress! For me this dress has taken the polka dot trend to the next level and has a really flattering fit. It is the perfect occasion piece especially for this lovely weather we are currently having, and would be perfect for a day at the races. I paired it with some open toe shoe boots to give it a more edgy feel.

Finally, I wanted to share with you my latest outfit purchase. I used to stay away from crop tops as was always conscious of my tummy (especially after an overindulgent lunch). However, a few weeks ago the lightbulb went off and I realised that if I paired a crop with a high wasted pair of trousers then … problem solved! So you can imagine my delight when I walked into Topshop on Oxford Street and picked up these gorgeous high waisted trousers and this cute Zimmerman style crop!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read my post. Please feel free to leave any comments below and for all outfit details please visit the ‘shop my wardrobe’ page.
